THE STORY:

Marjohn Rasooly wrote -

Loeys-Dietz Syndrome (LDS) is a genetic disorder that was first identified and named in 2005. The Loeys-Dietz Foundation was created in 2007 and provides hope to those impacted by promoting awareness, supporting research, disseminating new medical information and providing resources to individuals with LDS and their families.

In honor of my favorite super heroes I'm running the Long Beach half marathon this October.  Please consider a generous donation to support this noble foundation. One hundred percent of your donation will go to the Loeys-Dietz Foundation in Baltimore, Maryland.

More information about Loeys- Dietz Syndrome and the foundation can be found by visiting www.loeysdietz.org.
