EVENT DATE: Apr 26, 2016
"Mr. Manogue" is an annual "handsome" pageant at Bishop Manogue Catholic High School in Reno, NV. Each year, more than a dozen Senior boys pair with Senior girls who coach them as they compete for the coveted crown of "Mr. Manogue." As part of the competition, each team tries to raise the most money for a local charity.
I am Maddy Browne and I am coaching Shane Andrews to raise money for Reno Ronald McDonald House. The Reno Ronald McDonald House is located next to Renown Medical Center and offers families a place to sleep, eat, and relax while their children receive treatment at one of the area's nearby hospitals. While staying at this "home away from home," families are offered home-cooked meals, private bedrooms and bathrooms, a playroom, laundry facilities, and support connections to families undergoing similiar situations. For children facing a serious medical crisis, keeping moms and dads close by for love and support at little or no cost to them is as "powerful as the strongest medicine prescribed."
Please support Shane so that we can reach our fundraising goal for Reno Ronald McDonald House, an amazing house of hope. Any donation is a big amount and will help greatly!
All donations are due April 26, but "Mr. Manogue" will be held on April 27th, 6 p.m. at Bishop Manogue Catholic High School, 110 Bishop Manogue Drive, Reno, NV 89511. Everyone of all ages are welcome to attend this popular, fun-filled event! Tickets are $10 and can be purchased at the door.
Thank you for you generosity, and we hope to see you there!
