BENEFITING: NYRR Youth Programs
EVENT DATE: Aug 02, 2015
On August 2, 2015 I'll turn 40. Since I love celebrating my birthday, sports and raising money for kids, I've decided to do all three this year. In honor of my 40th birthday I'm raising money to get kids active through New York Road Runners (NYRR) Youth Programs by doing Ironman Boulder, a triathlon that is 140.6 miles...on my 40th birthday!
Please join my #MR40 campaign to get kids active by making a tax deductible donation to NYRR Youth Programs.
- My goal is to raise $4,000 in general support for NYRR Youth Programs.
- My stretch goal is $14,060 to sponsor a Mighty Milers school and give every kid in the school a new pair of running shoes. It's also $100 raised per mile of the Ironman!
- My "pie in the sky" dream goal is to raise $40,000 to provide additional college scholarship funds for girls in NYRR's Run for the Future.
Please take a few minutes to watch the video above about NYRR Youth Programs and you'll see why I love going to work at NYRR every day. Then please make a donation to the #MR40 Get Kids Active campaign.
Thanks in advance for your generous support!
#MR40 - Get Kids Active
The #MR40 Top 40 is a countdown of my most memorable songs from the past 10 years. In addition to the songs listed below, I’d also like to add: “Chelsea Rodgers” by Prince and “The Only Way I Know” by Jason Aldean. Unfortunately these songs aren’t available on Spotify, but they did make the cut for the #MR40 Top 40!
