EVENT DATE: Mar 02, 2014
I am excited to share with you that I am participating in Climb to the Top on March 2, 2014. This will be my fourth year involved in this incredible event that celebrates creating a world free of MS, and generates hope for the thousands who will come together on this day all for one purpose.
As many of your are aware, my father in law, Dennis, bravely struggles with MS. Your support in the fight against a world free of MS is important. The money raised goes to research and services that make life easier for those suffering with the disease.
This is a cause that I am very passionate about because of the amazing things that the National MS Society is doing to help those living with multiple sclerosis.
Here are a few examples of what your donations can do:
$50 will provide a home care visit for someone living with MS.
$70 will cover the cost of six days of home delivered meals to a person living with MS.
$80 will pay for an occupational therapist to evaluate the safety of the home of someone living with MS.
$100 will cover the cost of a walker for someone living with MS that has difficulty walking.
$150 will pay for someone living with MS to get to and from their doctor’s appointment when they have no other form of transportation.
$1,500 can cover the cost of a scooter for someone living with MS.
My goal this year is to raise $3000.00 and I know, with your help, I can reach that goal! Thank you for your support toward something so important to me. I look forward to telling you about my experience after Climb to the Top!
