BENEFITING: MISSION 292

Mark Case

THE STORY:

This will be my first trip to Haiti with Mission 29.2. we will head there in January 2016 and I am asking for your support. Mission 29.2 is non-profit that hosts an annual marathon in Ouanaminthe, Haiti. The marathon helps to get the local community involved in educational funding while promoting community health and wellness. We provide all of the local runners with running shoes (donations of shoes are also welcome!) and the money raised goes directly to Institution Univers, a local primary and high school that we support in Ouanaminthe. Your donation will help: fund the school with the ability to purchase supplies for the children, 2 daily meals (which most of them would not get at home), and it will help pay for repairs needed at the school. Additionally while in Ouanaminthe, we spend some time with children from a local orphanage where we get to take them to the beach and shower them with lots of much-needed love and attention. Your donation will directly impact these children and if you feel that this is something you would like to experience for yourself, there are still spots available on the team. If you have the ability to play human jungle gym for a few days, please consider joining this amazing group of people!
