Mt. Hermon Library Construction Update
October 04, 2017
BENEFITING: Ppl Foundation
These are exciting times for Pittsylvania County Public Library’s Mt. Hermon Branch. We are moving into the former Rivermont School, not far from our current location. The new Mt. Hermon library will be more than twice the size of our existing branch. Our new branch will have more room for children’s and youth programs, reading, computers, meetings, study/tutoring, and outdoor activities. The Pittsylvania County Board of Supervisors has funded the building renovation costs, but we need your help to furnish the library, creating a functional and vibrant new heart of the community. Our goal is to raise $170,000. Your dimes, nickels and dollars will help! Please consider helping us with a generous gift to the Pittsylvania Public Library Foundation, a 501c3 organization, for the Mt. Hermon Branch. Your donation is fully tax deductible and those $100 and over will be recognized in the library. Your gift supports early literacy, promotes lifelong learning, and bridges the digital divide for everyone. Our libraries are the public face of the community because we are open and welcoming to all citizens and visitors. You can be a part of showing off the very best of Mt. Hermon and Pittsylvania County through your donation. Consider a donation to honor a special reader in your life this holiday season. If you have any questions or would like to discuss a substantial named gift or bequest, please call Lisa Tuite at (434) 432-3271 or email@example.com. We would be happy to discuss the project and your donation. Thank you for your generosity and support. Keep reading!
