BENEFITING: NATIONAL PANCREATIC CANCER FOUNDATION

EVENT: Tough Mudder Philly 2017

EVENT DATE: May 20, 2017

THE STORY:

Sam Newman was an extremely special husband, father, brother, son, and friend to many. His life was taken from him far too soon by pancreatic cancer. One of his most extraordinary characteristics was his selflessness. Let's continue his legacy by raising money and awareness for the National Pancreatic Cancer Foundation together! Let's make a difference, push for early detection, and better treatments.

As a first year medical student, I will never forget Sam driving me to my medical school interview and giving me a pep talk in the car beforehand. He gave me the confidence to make my dreams a reality that day. Now it's my turn to make sure other people can live out their dreams and that they do not succumb to the disease that snatched Sammy from us.

Let's make Sam proud and help save lives in his honor!
