Mulholland Drive is a historic scenic road stretching along the Santa Monica mountains which is home to a variety of native Southern Californian wildlife in the Hollywood Hills and beyond - unwanted trash and debris DOES NOT belong here!
Save the natural beauty of this area and make either a one time contribution or a monthly pledge. No Amount is too small!
For some reason Mulholland has become a dumping ground for a misguided few. Imagine a day when you will be able to drive along this infamous road without seeing a discarded mattress, an unwanted toilet, construction debris and even fast food wrappers.
The time is now because tomorrow will be too late. Now, is the time to appreciate and enjoy the natural landscape and help preserve its native inhabitants - deer, coyotes, bobcats and the red tailed hawk.
If we don’t ACT NOW the misguided few will continue to dump.
If we don’t ACT NOW this beautiful landscape will be destroyed for generations to come.
For the past couple of years ago, Jackie Hunsicker a long time resident of Coldwater Canyon started www.nolitterzone.com to manage a local cleanup effort. Jackie grew tired of driving along Mulholland and seeing trash lying along the side of the road. She took action. Using her own limited resources, Jackie implemented a cleanup undertaking for several miles of Mulholland around Laurel Canyon and Coldwater Canyon. This venture has made a visible and positive impact on the environment. Jackie can no longer fit the bill on her own dime.
We need more support from the community to continue and expand this cleanup effort.
We are looking to you as a members of this community to pledge a contribution to support this cleanup on an ongoing basis. Your monthly pledge will ensure that cleanup proceeds uninterrupted.
