BENEFITING: MUNDO VERDE BILINGUAL PUBLIC CHARTER SCHOOL
ORGANIZER: MUNDO VERDE BILINGUAL PUBLIC CHARTER SCHOOL
Working at Mundo Verde has been a gateway to putting into practice the things that I studied during my masters program. Mundo Verde has found incredible ways to make themselves not only a part of the DC community but a part of the global community by opening their arms and curricula to a world mindset. Giving children and local and global view that will help mold who they are through their lifetime.

Imagine an environmentally friendly school, focused on teaching sustainability and environmental stewardship in a bilingual environment that nurtures the curioisuty and endless potential for the leader of tomorrow.
You can make it happen!
Mundo Verde has earned a long term lease for the old J.F. Cook School. In order to make this new home reflect the values of sustainability, respect for the environment and service to the community that our school aims to instill in every one of our students, we need your help. The new campus we envision will:
- Allow us to meet our goal to better serve the DC community by expanding our student body by 260 additional students in the coming years to educate more than 500 students from DC in sustainability, bi-cultural and bilingual education and community stewardship.
- Enhance educational opportunities and make a high-quality school more accessible to DC residents
- Build long-lasting partnerships with families, community organizations, and local businesses.
To make this happen we need your support. Every little bit helps. Please consider making a tax-deductible donation to Mundo Verde, and help us make the dream of a sustainable future for Washington a reality!
