As sad as it is say, music education in our public schools is fading and even being cut altogether. Anthony Cincotta Music, LLC is determined to keep music in schools by offering schools an after-school lesson program that is absolutely FREE for them to utilize, allowing them to appropriate their budgeting as they see necessary without effecting their students' music education.
We here at AC Music handle the hiring of instructors (including background checks), scheduling of lessons, billing, and all other headaches that come with running a program like this. We conduct all of our lessons within the schools that implement our program as to provide a safe, convenient, and learning-conducive environment for everybody. And we donate a portion of the money paid for each lesson taught in their school directly back to them.
Our instructors are top caliber musicians and teachers, and to most of them this is their full-time career. While we have a select generous few who donate their time, we simply cannot ask our instructors to do this for free. Lessons are paid for by interested students/parents and many times finances are what keep people from being able to participate. By applying for grants through cultural councils and fundraising like this, we are able offer deserving students scholarships to participate in our program.
We have never participated in a Crowdrise Fundraiser before, so we are very hopeful. Our goal of $1000 will be parsed out to several students and provide them with music lessons for an entire school calendar YEAR!!! So please consider donating to this cause and if you know of a school that could utilize our services please let us know.
