In 2000, I adopted a beautiful black lab puppy from the Kennebec Valley Humane Society. She had a hard start to her young life. Glams, in name and personality, was a wonderful girl who was my companion for almost 12 years.
Now my home is filled with 16 legs - Claudette, a calico rescued from a farm in Corinna; Julio, a tuxedo cat was a foster failure; Francine, my beautiful, senior beagle was adopted from the Kennebec Valley Humane Society and my very sweet black lab, Bucket.
In honor of Glams, on Saturday, May 16th, I will walk Francine and Bucket in the 22nd Annual Mutt Strut to help raise money and awareness for the great work of the Kennebec Valley Humane Society. We service 22 communities and care for thousands of animals per year. I would greatly appreciate your support!
