My brother Derek is a good man
Organized by: Craig Williams
My name is Craig Williams and my brother Derek was living with our oldest brother Brian for 18 months in Poulsbo, Washington living on $1400 a month SSI income and paying Brian $1000 a month for rent. He was also doing a lot of work on Brian's home as well as taking care of his place when Brian would be gone for weeks at a time for work and vacations. On August 5th, which was our mothers birthday Brian accused Derek of assault and had him thrown in jail, where he was until the following Monday when I was able to get him out and bring him to my house in Covington where he is now living with me and my family, 5 people in a 3 bedroom house. He had to hire a lawyer to clear him of these bogus charges which leaves him with less than $400 a month to help with living expenses. Although Derek fell into a dark place in his life but there is so much good in him as well and no one wants sympathy or charity from anyone but he would be homeless without at least one person he could trust. Derek has experienced the worst of two family members who have taken all of his possessions and either sold them for their own gain or kept them for themselves. There is much more to the story but right now he has no transportation and no money to get himself a place of his own, I myself work 2 jobs my wife works and our twin sons are in school. Derek has had hip replacement surgery last March and has been clinically diagnosed as disabled. I have never asked anyone for anything but we could use a little help right now.
