BENEFITING: SEVA CORPORATION OF SIKH DHARMA
In march 2012 i got the privilege to spend a week at the Manjusharee Orphanage in Twang, India. The orphanage is run but a Tibetan monk and tucked away in a remote village in North East India. It is hidden from the world but full of 185 kids that are angle on this earth!
I spent a week with the kids teaching them yoga and they tought me that even when you have nothing, literally nothing you can be so full of joy and love!
One of the most beautiful things i saw when staying at Manjusharee was the way the kids lived for each other, not at each other. They share clothes, beds (some times 4 little ones to a bed) and they take care of each other. It is more like a giant family then an orphanage.
I left after a week feeling like i had 185 kids of my own, falling in love with each and every child! I also committed to helping support them. Their location is so remote that it makes them fall off the map, so its up to people like me (visitors) to raise money to help put food in their bellies and cloths on their bodies! So please help me help them! Thanks for taking the time to read this!
