The holiday season is upon us. I don't know about you, but I love December. I love hanging twinkly lights and seeing old friends. I love making cookies for neighbors and picking out the perfect gifts for my loved ones. I love watching members of my community come together to celebrate love and kindness in the season. Of course, these are things that should be celebrated every day, but something about the holidays makes altruism shine extra bright.
I began working with My Angel My Hero in the spring of 2015. Our mission is to bring awareness toward social causes including Parkinson's disease, Autism, and domestic violence. I volunteered as a copywriter and grantwriter in hopes that I could use my skillset in a positive way. Along the way I met some wonderful people, and I believe in the organization and the work we do.
In 2015, we launched 24 videos from Parkinson's Disease patients. We will continue launching these videos in 2016, in addition to several new projects. We are in the planning stages for new film projects that promote Autism and domestic violence, respectively.
We need your help. Our work relies on support from generous donors and volunteers. Your donation is tax deductible.
At My Angel My Hero, we believe in art’s power to positively impact people around the world, and we seek to spread messages of inspiration and hope through our work. Thank you for your support and have a blessed holiday season.
