Mission: Restore, a 501 c (3) not-for-profit organization that provides reconstructive surgical training in countries that desperately need help, is planning two training missions for February and March of 2014. We are raising funds to send two Mission: Restore volunteer surgeons to Myanmar (Burma), a country of 60 million people with only 10 plastic surgeons. Our doctors will help train local surgeons so that people who are suffering from contractures from burns or infections from injuries will have a second chance at a happy life. Our goal is to train local doctors so they can help train more doctors and more people in Myanmar will receive critical and immediate care for wounds and burns. Last year, we worked on 27 complex cases in Myanmar during two missions. Please join the Mission: Restore team and help us return and help more patients who are suffering.
Your dollars at work:
$ 250 – Provides on-site training for one surgical procedure
$500 - Provides educational materials for one surgeon
$1,000 – Establishes medical education program set up in one country.
Thank you in advance and Happy Holidays!
