My heart cares
EVENT DATE: Sep 02, 2016
I am working with Syrian refugees, simply put: they can hardly find food on their table, how can they afford medical care?
It was one of those other days, her husband went for a walk, since he has no work to do, but waiting for those who can offer his family something to eat, that afternoon, he fell down in the street, heart attack, and never came back home. He left his wife, with a divorced daughter, no one to take care of them, not to mention the two kids of their divorced daughter, the mother has undergone a kidney transplant, in need for a monthly immune medicine that costs more than 500$ a month. This is a case of a Syrian refugee family that struggles to have food on their table.
