My Mom' s Ovarian Cancer and my Baby's Breathing Treatments
Organized by: Daniella F
Hello and thank you so so much for taking time to read a little about my situation. I'm having a difficult time caring for my mom and my baby. I'm an excited and stressed new mom. I now know the endless joy of motherhood which is why I want to desperately help my mother. She was diagnosed with terminal ovarian cancer in 2009 and was given 5 years to live. But thank God she's still here to enjoy her new grandson. She has recently been hospitalized a lot and I just can't pay her medical bills. On top of that her living expenses are a lot to bear and we barely make it especially with a new baby in the picture. I want to prolong her life as long as possible and with the proper care I've been able to do so while keeping the cancer controlled and from spreading; but the new baby expenses and me being out of work to have the baby has made it so very difficult. I also have to give my baby breathing treatments several times a day which makes it difficult to leave him in someone else's care. It's pretty scary to go through. The medical bills are piling up quickly. If you can find it in your heart to help; even $1 counts. We will forever be grateful. Cancer affects all of us but together we can fight it. I wanted to post a picture of her but she's embarrassed due to her hair loss but here's a picture of her grandson getting his breathing treatments. Thank you so much for your time and generosity. It only takes 1 person to impact 1 life.
