I am dancing for The Pink Fund because… I have always wanted to be a dancer and this will allow me to do something I absolutely love to do, while raising money for something that has become so important in my “re-birth,” helping women who need financial assistance while going through treatment for this awful disease we know as breast caancer. Having a non-profit myself (Soul Survivors), I know the demand doesn’t meet the supply and I want to affect that in the best way I can.
I was diagnosed with STAGE 1/Grade 3 Her2 positive breast cancer on February 4, 2013
The most valuable lessons I’ve learned from having breast cancer is to first be your own advocate. While a first opinion is important, so is a second and sometimes third, as I did.
Additionally, enjoy every day you are here in this beautiful place we call earth. While there are bad days; you are here and there is a reason.
Breast cancer awakened me to being more present, more spiritual, and loving life to the fullest. I've let go of toxic people, and above all else, i I work on living my life fearlessly. I strive for this every single day and it is undoubtedly, a work in progress,
Your donation will help me reach my $3,000 fundraising goal. Why $3,000? That amount will help The Pink Fund provide #RealHelpNow to one qualified applicant in active treatment to cover her non-medical, basic cost of living expenses for three months.
Thanks to all who love and support me in giving back to a cause that is near and dear to my heart. Cancer is a costly disease oftentimes leaving families in terrible financial trouble. Every penny counts so appreciate all who can give.
