My entire young adult life has revolved around the fight against MS. I have spent the last 4 years tirelessly learning about the crucial elements that contribute to this ailing disease and attempting to better understand the mechanisms through which this disease can be prevented and stopped.
During the fall of the 2015 semester, I will be participating in BIKE MS to contribute to the ongoing efforts to not only stop disease progression and restore what has been lost, but to end MS forever.
I am asking you to support me in Bike MS because this is a foundation that is extremely meaningful to me. Millions of people are affected by MS and the challenges of living with its unpredictable symptoms. MS is an autoimmune disease in which your immune cells attack specific cells in the brain and spinal cord causing a variety of negative, painful symptoms ranging from numbness and tingling to blindness and paralysis.
I intend to raise 5,000 dollars - 50 dollars for every mile that I will be riding for those who can barely make it on a bike let alone walk.
Please join me in the fight to ending this terrible disease. A donation of any size helps!
