BENEFITING: STUPID CANCER
In celebration of the milestone that is my 18th cancerversary on 1/10/14, I've undertaken a hive-inducing challenge to raise $1800 in support of the charity I founded, Stupid Cancer.
Back in 1996, I did not benefit from today's advances in peer support programs. Stupid Cancer has become the change I wished to see. It is a dream come true to see it's impact every single day. The ripple effect is beyond anything I could have ever conceived and I know with certainty that any young adult diagnosed with cancer today is WAY BETTER OFF than I was — and that's all that matters.
