National Amphibian Expo 2014
Organized by: Dan Madigan
EVENT DATE Aug 09, 2014
Would you like to contribute to a local event that will have a global impact? The National Amphibian Expo is seeking donations to help with final event expenses.
We have just announced the conservation campaign for the National Amphibian Expo entitled "SUPPORT LOCAL. SUPPORT GLOBAL." The two projects being supported by our campaign are the “Local” research and recovery project for Crawfish Frogs (Lithobates areolatus), run by Dr. Michael Lannoo from the Indiana University School of Medicine and the “Global” amphibian captive breeding facility at Association Mitsinjo, a community-run organization founded by villagers in Andasibe, Madagascar.
In order to ensure that 100% of the expos proceeds will be divided among these two amazing projects, we have created this crowdrise fundraiser to help raise the final needed funds to cover the remaining expenses for the expo. Our goal is to open the National Amphibian Expo as they say "In the Black" Please note any additional funds that remain after all expenses have been paid will be added to the proceeds and will go directly to the supported conservation projects.
Interested in donating? You can make a contribution today and help us preserve the future of amphibian populations both locally and globally. We appreciate any consideration in donating and thank you from the bottom of our hearts in advance for any donation you may choose to give.
