Nancy's Memory Jar
Organized by: Leslee Harding
My Mom has been one of the most intelligent, gifted, and talented people I have ever known. The diagnosis of Alzheimer's has shocked and devastated our family. She always relied on her brain to get through life. She kept my Father alive with her nursing degree skills. Her degree in art made her win first place internationally with her water-color pencil painting of a sunflower. She always got through life's challenges with her awesome brain. To know she will not have that brain is so cruel. So along with this disagnosis the disease must have been hurting her for some time. She needs other help as well for health issues. Her osteoporosis has caused her back to break multiple times, her hip, and ribs. She has a mesh stomach. She needs so help until we can get her in a new place and get her in the right programs to assist us in her care.
