EVENT DATE: Nov 02, 2013
Nappy Run is an annual national campaign in South Africa to create public awareness of children with disabilities and to collect nappies for them. It takes place over October and November of each year with the first Saturday of November being Nappy Run Day. South Africa has been re-classified as a middle-income country, formerly poor, with the result that a lot less donor money enters the country. Although things have improved for our people in general, conditions for disabled persons have not improved to the same extend.
As a South African Charity, we cannot receive funds on CrowdRise, but the friendly people here suggested that we do a offline campaign: You can go to the National Council for Persons with Physical Disabilities South Africa's website and donate there: http://www.ncppdsa.org.za Then email me: firstname.lastname@example.org, and I will acknowledge your contributions in the comments section provided here.
Your support for children with disabilities in South Africa will be much appreciated!
