What do blindness, American soldiers, high school students and Mt. Elbert have in common? I’ll find out in 2 weeks!
I’ll be joining Erik Weihenmayer, the legendary blind climber who summited Mt. Everest along with wounded war veterans on a one-day climb up Colorado's highest peak: Mt. Elbert (which, by the way, I can now see from my kitchen window). Proceeds support Global Explorers, a nonprofit youth organization that combines students with and without disabilities on the adventure of a lifetime and our participation in the No Barriers Summit, a festival highlighting modern day pioneers who use adaptive technologies to adventure through life.
Help me reach my fundraising goal!
