BENEFITING: American Cancer Society
EVENT DATE: May 31, 2016
Nathan's school, Dixon Elementary School, is holding a fundraiser for The American Cancer Society. The students in the school will be walking in 30-minute shifts throughout the day to symbolize that "cancer never rests." Both of Nathan's grandfathers are survivors of Cancer. His paternal grandfather, Jim, has survived 3 different cancers! His maternal grandfather, Charles, was given a 5% chance of surviving a very aggressive and rare form of melanoma just after Nathan's 1st birthday. After multiple surgeries, chemo and radiation therapies, Charles continues to live and the cancer is in remission. We are so thankful that the research funded by The American Cancer Society has helped Charles and many others survive this deadly disease. Please help Nathan raise money to continue the fight against cancer so that we can keep counting more survivors. Let's join together and CELEBRATE the lives of those who have battled cancer, REMEMBER who have lost and FIGHT BACK against a disease that takes too much.
There is a small fee to donate through this web site. If you prefer, you may send or give us a check.
