THE STORY:

I am not a runner, in fact, I'm in the worst shape I've ever been in my life. It has always been a goal, a bucket list of mine to run this marathon, this year, it's more important to me than ever.

Have you ever just needed a win? I'm not talking about being the first to cross the finish line, or winning the Super Bowl, kind of win, but having one small thing go right. That's what this means to me, let me explain.

For the past few years I've seen firsthand how PD can change someone's life, and go from manageable to impossible. I've seen many phases, denial, anger, frustration, sadness and defeat. After feeling helpless, I turned to this, and the need for this win, for this to be the motivation that things can go right.

I want to be able to prove, to believe, that if an out of shape, self-proclaimed couch potato can run a marathon, than a cure is obtainable and the idea of a PD free world is reachable.

So I humbly ask you, my friends, colleagues, and family. To help me get this win.
