I actually get to run in the New York City Marathon and raise money for the National Stroke Association. This means a lot to me because I personally had a 2 strokes 18 months ago in January of 2014. This was a life changing experience for me and I have been able to rebound and get myself fit enough to run in 9 marathons in the last 9 months starting in October of 2014 in the Chicago Marathon. Through great help from doctors and research and great support from friends and family I am able to live a normal life and do great and exiting things. Its my hope that the money that we earn will be able to help others with their struggles with effects of strokes and help others with their research to know more about it. I am truly honored to have this opportunity to support this great cause. Thank you for all your help.
