BENEFITING: NATIONS UNIVERSITY
"Me a Christian? God forbid!" That was alway my response to Christians. Then in December 2006, I was involved in a murder case and went to prison. The message of salvation was preached to me and I saw the need to have my soul saved by "this Christ." I felt especially lost when John 3:16 was read aloud. I responded to this love despite my state of mind and soul. Christ opened His arms, I ran to Him and He embraced me. I became a New Born Person and I was baptized. i adopted a Christian name "Peter" and became known as Tunwashe "Peter" Kabiru.
Then a miracle happened in my life. My death sentence was commuted to life imprisonment. Hallelujah! I am now the assistant Pastor of the prison chapel. Depite my filthiness and imperfections, Jesus Christ welcomed me in love. The burden of guilt has since been warmly removed completely and I have decided to commit the rest of my life to the Lord Jesus Christ. The Lord be praised forever more, amen.
