Would you go the extra mile to protect Minnesota's lakes, rivers and streams - and drinking water for millions of Minnesotans and Americans? Would you run 26.2 miles?
The good news is you don't have to.
Help Team Nature!
We have nine runners on our team - Team Nature! - who are participating in the Medtronic Twin Cities Marathon on October 7, 2012. They've each committed to raising $1,000 for The Nature Conservancy’s freshwater protection work in Minnesota.
Through their efforts and your support we hope to raise a total of $10,000 to help protect Minnesota's lakes, rivers and streams. Our focus will be the Mississippi River, which provides drinking water for almost 1 million Minnesotans and millions of additional Americans. With your help, we can make a real difference for the health of the Mississippi River - and for everyone who depends on it.
