NAWBO/EXCEL wants to educate, equip and empower girls to DREAM big, believe in themselves, and to be financially independent.

YEA! is a cutting-edge program that takes students between the ages of 11 and 18 through the process of starting and launching a real business or social movement over the course of an academic year . By the end of the class, students own and operate fully-formed and functioning businesses, which may be carried on after their graduation from the program. YEA! aims to teach students at an early age how to make a job, not just take a job.

GirlBiz: Three one-day conferences where the young women attending will spend the morning learning how to “build” four key skills: Purpose, Passion, Power, and Profit to see how to become personally independent. The afternoon of the conference will show the group how to apply those same four key skills toward building a business. We will cover such topics as: ideation, branding and marketing, customer discovery, financial forecasting, presentation skills and more – presented in a way that connects with teenage girls!
