The Story

EVENT DATE: Aug 17, 2014

The Thomas E. Smith Foundation is proud to have an amazing group of participants on board for the 2014 New Balance Falmouth Road Race. We are grateful for those who embrace the opportunity to become a direct advocate and supporter for those affected by and living with paralysis, as providing both emotional and financial assistance to those in need are the hallmarks of our mission. As part of #TEAMCUREPARALYSIS, our runners have the unique opportunity to blend these two aspects into a 7-mile trek that stands for much more than a road race to someone with paralysis.

By participating, our runners are joining hundreds and thousands of people who have the same goal of helping others. Fundraising for a race is providing deeper meaning for a cause that you truly believe in. At the New Balance Falmouth Road Race, using sport to raise funds and awareness allows your sweat equity to add value to the lives of people with spinal cord injuries in need of support. Your physical efforts on behalf of those with paralysis are equally as important as the dollars you raise.
