Why Guatemala?

THE STORY:
This July, I will be traveling to Guatemala to immerse myself in language, culture, and people. For four weeks, I will be volunteering daily in primary classrooms through Niños de Guatemala. Through this nonprofit organization, I will be working with young Guatemalan children to help them access an education and a better future. Niños de Guatemala relies solely on donations to keep all of the 470+ children in school, equipped with all their school supplies and with full bellies. They also pay all the teachers fair salaries and ensure that the school is kept clean and cared for. Every little bit helps when providing these children a quality eduaction. All money raised goes directly towards the support of our schools and projects, and will aid immensely in the development and the future of the organization.
