GOD'S CURRENT DIRECTION FOR OUR LIVES:
We will be continuing in this traveling ministry loving and sharing with all those the Lord puts in front of us.
We continue to wait on the Lord to provide the "something better" He told us He had for us when we released the camper trailer that we had remodeled to a man who needed it to help care for his mother.
While traveling, we stopped and looked at RV's and when we were in Jacksonville, FL. We found an RV that will suit our needs well. It has enough space for the three of us. It has space in case the Lord blesses us with more children in the future but is not too big if the RV is used just by the three of us.
Not only will a small RV give us a little living space, it holds many other benefits as well:
- Area for cooking which will save us money on meals
- A refrigerator, saving greatly on food cost and allowing us to get more fresh produce for our family and those we serve
- A heater that does not need the engine running to provide heat(this will save a lot with the cost of gasoline these days
- A bathroom! Can you imagine living without access to anything but public restrooms? How about turning your house shower of for a month at a time?
- A sink to clean dishes in
- A table to sit at and study God's Word instead fo a vehicle seat
- On a personal note, enough space for a man to stand up in his home(Chad)
These may not seem like major things, but try going without them for a couple years.
We are trusting that if the needed funds for this particular vehicle are raised, it is the Lord's will for us to move forward on the purchase of it. IF not, no one will be charged and we will continue to seek his direction.
Who Are We?
Hi! We are Chad and Amy Nedland.
We are originally from Wisconsin. On June 1st, 2014, we heard the Lord's call to start traveling throughout the United States and sharing the gospel and the importance of Living Your Faith Now.
God touched our hearts and called us to lay down and surrender all that we have to him. We responded in obedience to him and donated almost everything we own (including our car) and stepped out in faith. We purchased bikes and started bicycling through various areas of the United States serving wherever we saw a need. After about seven months on bicycles, we discovered that we were pregnant and the Lord blessed us with a minivan to continue to travel in.
Due to the amazing number miles we covered we have engaged with a melting pot of cultures and people groups. There is an increasing breakdown of social stability, family life, and government corruption, poverty in cities, crime, domestic violence, and gang/drug involvement running rampant in our nation. There is so much need for stability that can be found only in Christ.
What Have Learned Through This?
As we travel throughout the United States of America we share the gospel of Jesus Christ with all those we meet. For some, it is in word and others in a deed. Rest assured, even if we could not speak, they would know what we believed. Live Your Faith Now has a Christ-centered mission to show what it looks like to actively live out what we profess to believe as God fearing Christians.
Our country has seen so many people hang their hat on the name 'Christian', and then live a life that is opposite of what they claim to believe! People in the world today look at followers of Christ and ask,"Why would I want what they have, their lives look no different than mine?" It is a sad thing that the world does not see God's children any different than the rest of the world.
It is important that we as children of God, step out and begin to actively live out what we profess to believe! It is vitally important that the world is able to see a picture of what it is like to "live out their faith" on a daily basis.
Without knowing what it looks like, what model are they to follow? They have nothing but to follow the general display of hypocrisy in the world today. We know that you are not interested in seeing them follow in the footsteps of the world. How then is the world suppose to turn to the body of Christ, the church, when it appears to be more broken and in more disarray than the world around it?
We are excited about working alongside each other and the possibility of bringing the good news of Jesus Christ in a loving and tangible way through service to those in need of Jesus – and at the very same time encouraging other members of the body of Christ to boldly step out in faith and impact the world they live in.
What Do We Do?
We minister in a variety of ways. We proclaim the message of life, hope, and freedom in the Messiah through street ministry, everyday interaction with people and through tangible acts of love through service.
Approaching the world from a servant's perspective increases the receptiveness of others. We are also involved in work projects within communities where we can show by our actions how much God loves them.
As we work alongside churches, pastors, and local organizations, we are reaching the nation for the King of Kings. We are taking a big leap of faith and we are asking for your help. We can’t do this alone… we need your support to help us travel and bless those we meet along the way as we spread the love of God.
We also have a website, www.liveyourfaithnow.com, in which we will be posting blogs, videos, and teaching material along with our newsletter. In supporting this missionary work - you are supporting the work that God is doing through us. Most importantly, it allows us to diligently sow God's love and provision back into our nation in real ways.
We are an example of God's love to those who may never have tasted His goodness.
