Dear Kind Donor:
RE: www.filipinoip.org (Not just for Filipinos!)
Pleasant greetings! My full name is Victoriano Donato Cabiles. I go by Victor or Vic. I am originally from the Philippines. I came to the US some years ago for my MBA. More recently, I have also earned my MGM (Master of Global Management) degree. I am now a US national (naturalized US citizen). I currently reside in the Greater Pittsburgh area, in Pennsylvania.
I am a new entrepreneur, and I have recently formed a global organization called ©Filipino International Professionals (FIP). Its website is www.filipinoip.org. FIP is both a business and social networking group for Filipino workers, regardless of their professions, worldwide. FIP is a very inclusive entity, and welcomes non-Filipinos to join!
FIP's mission is rather hefty: to unite and connect Filipino workers on a global scale. FIP's vision is to become the premier networking association for Filipino workers, wherever they are in the world, including their home country - the Philippines.
FIP is the first organization to fully realize the unmet need of Filipino workers: a group to belong to, where they can have a support system, reach out for help, and ultimately have a collective “voice” for issues concerning their welfare, among other things. This is especially true for international Filipino workers (Overseas Contract Workers or OCWs, and Overseas Filipino Workers, or OFWs). Both worker types prefer to be referred to as OFWs, and the latest statistic indicates they number around 2.3 M.
I have been relying mainly on FREE social media to promote and generate membership for FIP. Joining the group is 100% FREE, and signing up is relatively easy. At present, FIP is about 5 months old, and has a decent number of members from all over the world.
FIP's key challenge is generating awareness and conversion among the target audience through advertising, marketing, promotions, and a positive publicity - including word-of-mouth. To date, I have invested my resources on website development, creating a Facebook Page, Google+ page, tweeting, and so on.
FIP's website, www.filipinoip.org, has undergone a number of changes to make it more appealing, easy to navigate, and to meet the goal for which it was created. I have spent countless number of hours in the evenings and weekends searching and researching about the "best practices," for networking organizations like FIP, promoting FIP via different social media (as stated above), and also maintaining its current membership through online engagement with the members.
However, I may have reached the threshold in my use of FREE social media to generate awareness and membership. Therefore, I would need some funding to enlist professional (paid) help to address and optimize FIP's awareness generation and conversion, enhance the website and its features, as well as targeted marketing and advertising campaigns, among other things.
I would like to invite you to please take a look at FIP's website - www.filipinoip.org - and see for yourself what I have built so far. I truly believe there is a very strong growth potential for FIP, if guided to the right direction. As such, I would like to request for your kind support by making a donation of any amount to help me and my organization reach its fullest potential.
Again, I am Victor (or Vic) Cabiles - founder of ©Filipino International Professionals (FIP) – “dedicated to bringing together Filipino workers, and their friends/supporters, around the world - for help, support, and a collective voice.”
I am reaching out to you for whatever amount you are willing to provide. Your generosity will be rewarded 100x over. If you have any questions, my most accessible email at this time is firstname.lastname@example.org. You may also contact me at email@example.com.
Thank you very much in advance for helping FIP, a cause-worthy and growing organization. I look forward to your generous financial support, which will be used entirely for the development of FIP!
