Nepal Earthquake Relief Donation
Organized by: Raju Shrestha
More than 4800 have lost their lives and 9200 are injured in the 7.8 Richter scale earthquake that hit Nepal on April 26, 2015. There have been dozens of tremors and aftershocks since the first earthquake, further destabilizing structures and complicating rescue efforts. People are in desperate need for clean drinking water, food and blankets. The aftermath of the Nepal earthquake brings a risk of disease outbreaks and epidemics. Our main goal is to prevent such epidemics by providing safe drinking water and setting up sanitation systems. We have seen that donations through charity hasn't reached the needy people yet, so we are trying to raise funds for a group of nursing student volunteers who are working together to help the affected people. Please donate generously and spread the word. We will continue to provide updates and information regarding the allocation of funds. Thank you all for your support.
