BENEFITING: SHIKSHYA FOUNDATION NEPAL
EVENT: Nepal Earthquake Relief Fund
THE STORY:
Over 8,500 people were killed by a massive 7.9 magnitude earthquake that hit Nepal on April 25, 2015. There was moderate damage in Kathmandu, while the majority of the damage occurred in villages throughout the affected districts. Initial relief and humanitarian assistance is largely complete, but the process of rebuilding and recovery, which will likely take years, is just beginning.
Shikshya Foundation Nepal is committed to distributing 100% of the funds it raises directly to programs that will benefit the people who need assistance the most. As an education foundation, we are now using funds raised in part to support education and learning projects and to fund tuition and education expenses of children whose families have been affected by the earthquake.
Your donations will go to Shikshya Foundation Nepal (www.shikshyafoundationnepal.org). Please donate generously and spread the word - there is still much work to be done. We will continue to provide updates and information regarding the allocation of funds on our website, and on our Facebook and Twitter pages. Thank you for your support!

Today, Bank of the Sierra mailed me a postcard addressed to my own website name, Anvil Panow Creations, crossed out, straight through, all the way, with a thick, black handwritten line. For earthquake and poverty relief and mobility, can you please fund and service the travel of my own gay fiancé, at https://plus.google.com/112267596723868822992/posts/7qzLUmWkCbq, from India, to me, a native-born United States citizen in Kern County, Bakersfield, California, United States of America? 5 months ago
