Nepal, helping earthquake victims prepare for a harsh winter
Organized by: Rosemary Bonilla
Dear friends and family, The weather temperatures of Nepal have greatly stressed the already stained families of Nepal. The relationship between Nepal and India remains at a stand still. Our boarders remain closed from receiving our necessary imports of daily living necessities. With our borders closed, the prices double or triple of what is scarcely available. Food and medicine becomes the luxuries, yet even the financially stable people may not have all that they need. There are great needs here. Many still suffer from the major 7.8 USGS reported earthquake we had in April this year. "Hundreds of thousands of people were made homeless with entire villages flattened." Most still remain with necessary shelter to endure a harsh winter coming. At this point, high temperatures are steady through out the week around 20F° Please consider to help the children. We will provide a medical camp for children of Gorkha Nepal. We have a list of 54 children ages 1-15. Many of these children have never had a checkup, for others it's far overdue. We would like to provide this medical camp before the end of the year. With $11 per child, we are able to provide a blanket and a medical checkup. Please consider to help us help the children. Please pray for these children.
