BENEFITING: New Orleans Mission, Inc.
EVENT DATE: Mar 31, 2017
On March 31st, a group of friends and I will brave the rough and tumble streets of New Orleans to sleep outside as part of the 2017 Sleep Out to Fight Human Trafficking fundraising event with the New Orleans Mission. Your donation will support the construction of the Giving Hope Women’s Pavilion for victims of abuse and sex trafficking. For one night, I will give up the comforts of home, knowing that by doing so I can help provide a home for women who need it the most. The New Orleans Mission currently accommodates 32 women at any one time, but construction of the Women’s Pavilion at the Giving Hope Retreat Center on the Northshore will provide bed space, vocational training, life skills education, spiritual discipleship, and a peaceful atmosphere for 100 women to heal and grow.
Please join me in raising $1,000 before March 31st to support the construction of the Women’s Pavilion. All donations are tax-deductible and will be transferred from Crowdrise directly to the New Orleans Mission.
