New Hope for Africa
Organized by: Alyson Visgauss
Have you ever felt pulled towards something so strongly but denied it? Felt like you are ment to be doing something meaningful with your life, to serve and help others, to follow a path set forth by God that was frightening, or did not conforn to the societal norms you were raised with and surrounded by? I have felt this in my heart, tugging at me, all my life. I did not know who to support, where to begin; or how to have the faith to leave behind my comforts, and safeties, to follow my deepest calling, to serve. I was so moved when hearing about this center, and the Tomorrow Come program, that I immediately reached out to them. I was greated with a warm welcome to help. I was told that, I already had the qualifications needed, which were passion and a willingness to follow the path set by God before me. I do not have money to simply donate, or comitments that keep me in one place. All I have to give is my time, my hands, my love and fatih. I need your help to get there.
, and New Hope Center are organizations that work together to take care of the children and handicap in Ethiopia. Tomorrow Come does medical and other missions trips to the New Hope orphanage and secondary school. I have had a very strong calling to go and serve in all the ways that I can. I would like to join them on the next mission trip and stay for as long as I can to help and bring funds for medical supplies. The Ethiopian government regulations on what can be brought into the country are very strict, as they are trying to keep as much as possible local. I am told you are not able to bring many medicals supplies in, but however, are able to purchase them locally for a cheaper price even. Please search these organizations and if you find you would like to support me helping them, please make a donation. Bless and Love.
