BENEFITING: Camden County Women's Center/NJAC
ORGANIZER: Camden County Women's Center/NJAC
Camden County Women's Center is the state designated agency for providing domestic violence services in our community to victims and survivors of domestic violence, regardless of age, gender, race, ethnicity, or sexual orientation.
Camden County has the highest domestic violence rates in the state. Unfortunatley many programs reported a critical shortage of funds and staff to assist victims in need of services such as transportation, childcare, language translation, mental health and substance abuse counseling, and legal representation.
The funds that we receive are vital in our efforts to continue to support CCWC grow and provide programming and support to the courageous women, men and children who daily face challenges as they work to live safe and violence free lives.
If you or someone you know needs immediate help, please call the National Domestic Violence Hotline at 1-800-799-SAFE (7233) or TTY 1-800-787-3224.
Your participation in the Allstate Purple Purse Challenge is greatly appreciated and much needed for change, development and financial empowerment within our families and communities. The program ignites fundraising for more than 140 national, state and local domestic violence organizations. Funds raised will support life-changing financial empowerment services to help domestic violence survivors build safer lives for themselves and their families.
