For more than 30 years, the Foundation has been privileged to carry the support of the University of Washington Burn Center at Harborview Medical Center and leverage its medical resources to the benefit of our clients. Dedicated to providing cutting edge treatment for patients with severe burns, the UW Burn Center medical team, comprised of highly skilled surgeons and nurses, allows the patients and families served by the Foundation to be treated by one of the finest burn and trauma centers in the country.Thank you so much for your support.
Celebrating our 31st anniversary, the Northwest Burn Foundation is a widely regarded 501(c) 3 nonprofit organization serving burn injury survivors and their families in Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana and Alaska.
Founded in 1982 by Dr. David Heimbach, former Director of the University of Washington Burn Center; Janet Marvin R.N., former Associate Director of the University of Washington Burn Center; Frank Hanson, former Chief of the Seattle Fire Department; and Tom Stellick, a Bellevue area business professional.
