New Prosthesis needed (Pics are of Susan)
Organized by: Evonne Oakwood
Susan needing a new opterator means that there is extensive dental work that needs to be done. At the age of 12, there was a tumor in her right cheek, there was a 12 hour operation and all went well, being 36 Susan needs a new opterator. Being that the Dr. did not know how invasive the procedure would be, there was a fundraiser put into place, yet that was not enough to cover the expenses that are needed to help her survive, not only for herself but for her 2 boys. There are currently appointments to see what UCSF can do for her, yet this will take a lot of money. Susan is a single mother of 2 boys and has no vehicle. The only way for her to receive help is if there is some help from the community. Without her opterator there is a chance of death. Susan cannot eat, speak, swallow or look the same without this opterator supporting her right cheek, upper roof of her mouth and teeth. Any help would be appreciated! Once again the pictures are of Susan.
