Having a two year old son has been the best experience of my life. I am in constant awe of his energy, curiosity and innocence and have I have developed a new admiration for children (and mothers!) everywhere. Recently I became aware of the plight of the children living at the Nkoaranga Orphanage in Tanzania and became immediately moved by the cause. Despite living through some difficult times, these children are ready to play, smile and live life to the fullest! I spoke with the founder of the Small Things non-profit and she said that these beautiful children are most in need of good shoes that will withstand their activity levels! Help them play, romp, live in some comfortable shoes! There are 30 children living there and I'd like to raise enough for each of them to get a pair or two of new shoes!
