“We are most grateful for the opportunity to work closely with NYRR again for the 2014 NYC Half Marathon,” said Brian Mauriello, Founder, Newtown Memorial Fund Inc. “Last year we were named a Charity Partner in the NYC Marathon, which was an extremely positive experience for our organization. Running not only brings people together, it facilitates the healing process which our community continues to work towards. Being a charity partner over time with high quality annual events helps ensure that we are able to serve our mission and goals as stated, to be of support in perpetuity until there is no longer a need."
