Hi guys, thanks for visiting!
I'm raising money for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) because my cousin, Maggie Jones, was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes when she was only 4 years old! It broke my heart to see the number of tests, shots and things she had to do on a daily basis just to stay healthy.
Below are some quick facts about JDRF and attached is a video about Maggie.
JDRF is the leading global organization funding T1D research. JDRF’s goal is to remove the impact of T1D from people’s lives.
JDRF is the only organization with the scientific resources, policy influence, and a working plan to better treat, prevent, and eventually cure T1D.
JDRF is currently sponsoring more than $450 million in scientific research in 17 countries.
