Stuff About Me:

NextStep Fitness - New England will be using Tim's (T4 paraplegic and NSF-NE Co-Director) efforts hand cycling through the Marine Corps Marathon, his first marathon, as a platform for our first official fundraiser! We're gaining incredible momentum and awareness through physical challenges during the incorporation and construction of our NextStep facilty and are ready to make monumental changes in the lives of the many affected by a traumatic injury resulting in partial-to-full paralysis or some type of movement impairment. Erin Crossman is a brilliant and passionate clinical Exercise Physiologist and, as stated earlier, Tim Morris is a T4 para and Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist.

A few of our efforts can be seen on NBC Sports October 19th while we took on the Spartan Race "Beast" at the Spartan World Championships in Killington, VT. We often choose to showcase to the world what is attainable through passionate, hard work and keeping a positive mindset because that's what our members face everyday and will need to reach their goals. We "Move For Others" in appreciation of those fighting for mobility themselves.

Why Crowdrise? Crowdrise allows anyone to join Team NextStep New England to donate to this fundraiser or create your own fundraiser benefiting NextStep New England!

NextStep's "Wheelchair for a Day" Challenge - spend a day in a wheelchair to raise awareness and funds.

NextStep's "Move for Others" Initiative - run a marathon, participate in a triathlon, xterra race, mud runner, play sports, go surfing, hiking, biking, or simply exercise in support of those fighting for mobility.

NextStep's "Pledge a Day" Campaign -  give up one day to help make a difference. Pledge your birthday, wedding, anniversary, Thanksgiving, St. Patty's Day, pledge to only eat anchovies for a day, the ideas are endless.
