Nicole's Trip to Cambodia-Stand Up Against Sex Trafficking
Organized by: Nicole Scott
A moment of mindfulness for all YOUR Generosity
September 19, 2016
EVENT DATE Oct 02, 2016
As many of you know, I've been pursuing my Master's at Pepperdine University in Social Entrepreneurship and Change. One of my program requirements is to participate in a Global Exchange where we have the opportunity to work in developing countries to lend our expertise to organizations in need of volunteers. So many places are under-resourced and would love to have someone who is giving them their time, energy and skills, as well as fundraising for them. I have the profound opportunity to travel to Cambodia for three weeks this October to work with Hope for Justice providing trauma informed fitness, yoga and everyday support and care.
Hope for Justice exists to end human trafficking and slavery, in our generation. This wonderful organization is opening it's hearts and doors for me to learn, grow and hopefully give of my time and skills in providing restorative care to help survivors dream again.
Those of you who know me, know that this is truly so difficult for me to ask for support. Yet I am reminded that this is not about ME.
I ask for your prayers, blessing and support during this journey. I have a vision that through the heart of compassion we can all rise and embrace the beauty of our humanity to create a better world and have a lasting impact in our communities and world that we live in.
- I leave October 2 for three weeks to work with the girls at the Hope for Justice's locations in Cambodia.
- 100% of funds received will facilitate my travel & board, vaccinations, cover shipping costs to send over supplies and donate items to the girls (workout clothing, yoga mats and books).
- Any remaining money after expenses will be directly donated back to the organization.
- There is NO limit to the amount that can be raised for this group.
Kindness and compassion are the greatest forms of love humans have to offer. Please support my journey to Cambodia to share my compassion with the survivors of human trafficking by making a donation through my page.
The process is fast, easy and secure. Thanks so much for your support... and please don't forget to send this page to any friends you think might be interested in donating!
