With internationally recognized and respected dog trainer Heather Beck of K9 Lifeline in Utah. Heather has worked with and been sought out by some of the best in the business, including "The Dog Whisperer" Cesar Millan.
The 3D Workshop, Dealing with Difficult Dogs, is a 2-day workshop focusing on a combination of interactive lecture by Heather Beck and hands on work with dogs. This affordable experience will benefit anyone from dog owners, veterinarians, shelter and rescue workers and beginning and high end trainers. Also, its for a great cause! We will cover socialization for reactive dogs, basic to advance leash handling, tools and techniques to create calm and confident dogs and handlers, and much more! This is a not to be missed weekend!
Heather Beck started skiing at the age of 2, and snowboarding at 12. Her very first snowboard was a Burton Woody. She couldn't be more excited to be asked by Burton Snowboards to help raise funds for The Chill Foundation, a non-profit youth-development program by teaching a 3D Workshop at Burton in Vermont! She loves the idea of using her dog experience to bring in funds to help youth learn to snowboard!
The event will be held at the Burton Snowboards Headquarters, 152 Industrial Parkway, Burlington, VT. The fundraiser is for The Chill Foundation, Burton’s non-profit youth-development program working with undeserved youth across North America. Chill provides opportunities for kids to build self-esteem and life skills through snowboarding and other board sports. Chill is headquartered in Burlington, VT and runs programs in Burlington, Boston, DC/Baltimore, New York City, Chicago, Salt Lake City, Denver, Los Angeles, Portland, and Seattle in the US. In Canada, the organization runs programs in Vancouver and Toronto.
