THE STORY:

At 35 years old Nicole is a simgle mother of 2 young girls, ages 8 and 5. The younver of the two children, Blakeleigh is handicapped herself with cerebral palsy. Recently Nicole has ndergone major shrgery to remove a tumor that was growing on her spine, causing spinal cord stenosis and nerve damage. The surgery removed the majority of the tumor but not all lf it. A specimen was sent out to the Mayo Clinic and pathology came back as cancer. Since undergoing this surgery she has been unable to work. Being a single mom is hard in itself but this is an added stress. Unable to pay rent, since medically unable to work, they have had to vacate their home and move to a smaller home. Their only vehicle that transports them to medicle appointments and treatments has been reposessed. Not having a car makes it impossible for this family to move forward or improve health in any fashion. They need a vehicle in order to get the kids to and from school and medicle appointments. Insurance is working on some home health care aid for Nicole but once recovery is complete she will habe no way to and from work, leaving it impossible to protect and provide for her little girls. I would love to show this single mother of two that hope is not gone and that peoe do still care about others. I hope to raise enough for this mother to be able to go and buy a new vehicle or with your help through this site be able to have a car donated to them so they will not have to worry or stress about how they will get to medicle treatments or to anywhere else they may need to go. Your donations are gfeatly aplreciated and needed.
