UGA HEROs is a non-profit student run organization that strives to improve the quality of life for the 12,000 children in Georgia infected with or affected by HIV/AIDS by raising money to support the programs offered by H.E.R.O. for Children, Inc., spreading awareness about the growing problem of pediatric AIDS, and participating in service initiatives aimed at improving the lives of affected children.
We've provided 350 kids with over 18,000 hours of quality life care, raised over 2 million dollars, and with your help we can continue to expand programs such as SuperHEROs Mentoring, Camp High Five, HERO for a Day, Holiday of HEROs, and UGA HERO Olympics.
There are three things you should know before you donate:
1. It only costs $2.74 per day to put one child through our Super HERO Program.
2. 100% of your donation goes to support our kids and their programs.
3. We're a 501(c)(3) and all donations are tax-deductible.
